Servicing and Repairs

Genuine parts (Japanese and other makes) are always used and readily available for repairs.

Intermediate, Major and Full Servicing

PSI only use high quality hard parts, goods, lubricants and fluids in services and recommend intervals of 4000 miles or 6 months between service inspections. Also winter riding "Health Check" packages which can be made up of anti-freeze changes, road salt oxidation / corrosion servicing of brake calipers, chain lubrication and adjustments.

Brake System Servicing and Upgrades

Available for all year round protection and optimum performance. Vacuum bleeding of hydraulic systems (most manufacturers recommend this every two years).
Major manufacturers also recommend replacement of original rubber brake lines every four years, which is also a good time to upgrade to stainless lines.

Suspension Linkage and Fork Refresh Servicing

Fork refresh involves removing fork legs, changing oil, resetting air gaps for equal performance and resetting rebound and compression damping adjusters (if required).

Rear suspension linkage refresh involves stripping and removing bushes and repacking bearings with grease to allow free and smooth operation of your rear suspension.

Chain and Sprocket Set-up or Replacement

A poorly maintained chain and sprockets can rob you of up to 2 - 3 BHP (the equivalent of a performance end can).
"Scottoiler" kits fitted on request for automatic chain oiling. Laser wheel alignment available.
